Welcome to Canyon View Cabin, a charming retreat nestled in the tall pines, just 1.9 miles or a short 6-minute drive from downtown Prescott. This delightful 2-level, 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin comfortably accommodates six guests with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa.

As you descend the spiral staircase to the lower level, fully carpeted bedrooms await, bright and airy with views to the east, south, and west. The first bedroom features a Smart TV for streaming movies and shows, while the second bedroom opens to the lower deck with a small patio set. A full bath with a double vanity and tub/shower combination, as well as a washer/dryer, complete the lower level. We have added A/C to both lower bedrooms as well as main floor.

Perched on a gently sloped lot, Canyon View Cabin offers impressive views of the southern canyon and the sprawling Ponderosa pine forest. The wrap-around deck, adorned with comfortable patio furniture and a dining table, invites outdoor dining and relaxation. Enjoy the serene pine-scented breezes and delightful views from your morning coffee to your evening wine.

The main floor showcases the original log cabin walls built in 1957, providing a rustic and warm ambiance. The living room features a stone, wood-burning fireplace, a large wagon wheel light fixture, and large windows offering forest views. The great room layout includes an 8-seat dining room table and a modern kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and even a dishwasher. A propane grill on the deck ensures BBQing convenience.

The main floor bath, with a walk-in shower and a modern glass sink, adds to the cabin's charm. The spiral staircase within a stone turret serves as an interesting architectural feature, complemented by the old-fashioned light fixtures and nostalgic touches throughout.

Canyon View Cabin provides WIFI and central heating and cooling for modern comfort. A fenced outside space allows your furry friends to relax while you unwind. The location is ideal, offering tranquility with outstanding views, yet downtown Prescott is only a short 5-minute drive away.

Your hosts, Greg & Wendy, reside in Prescott and are readily available for any questions or concerns. Prescott, recognized as one of the Happiest and Healthiest Cities in America, awaits with its scenic beauty, outdoor recreation, and small-town charm.

Ensure you rent a vehicle for your Prescott stay, and if bringing along your canine companions, inform Wendy in advance. Dogs are welcome for a nightly fee, and responsible pet behavior is expected.

Respect the tranquility of the neighborhood, adhering to noise restrictions after 10 pm. Canyon View Cabin is equipped with exterior surveillance cameras for safety.

Overlook Cabin: Your Cozy Retreat in Prescott

Welcome to Overlook Cabin, a charming and secluded property just 1.4 miles or 5 minutes from downtown Prescott. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath home offers a cozy retreat for up to 6 guests, featuring 2 queen beds and a sofa bed in the living room.

Key Features:

Smart TV: The living room is equipped with a large flat-screen Smart TV. Smart TVs provide a technological convergence of computers, televisions, and digital media players. They can access the internet via Wi-Fi and run built-in apps, offering a more interactive entertainment experience.

Interior: Recently remodeled, the interior of Overlook Cabin combines modern updates with the original charm of the property. The thoughtful redesign ensures a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for your stay.

Huge Fenced Yard: The cabin boasts a vast fenced-in yard, perfect for families with dogs. Please note that the fence on the hilly portion is approximately 3 1/2 feet tall. While it provides containment for most dogs, jumpers or escape artists may require additional supervision.

Outdoor Delights: Enjoy the wooded acre with various nooks and crannies, including a vintage camper yard decoration. Comfortable outdoor seating areas invite you to relax, and a fire pit enhances the experience for starry nights and s'mores. The outdoor propane grill is perfect for cooking meats and veggies.

Bedrooms and Bath: The bedrooms feature queen beds, and the full bath includes a walk-in shower, providing all the necessary comforts for your stay.

Modern Conveniences: Overlook Cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer, ensuring you have modern conveniences during your stay. Additionally, heating and air conditioning are available for your comfort.


Please let us know if you are bringing dogs and how many. We allow dogs but also charge for them. Dogs are $15 per night per dog plus tax. There is also a one time $10 flat fee.
